Courses start from £1,000, which includes:

• One Pool Plant Operator

• One Management Representative (mandatory)

• Practical training at your own pool

• Tailored instruction using your own equipment

Additional staff can attend for an additional fee, making it a cost-effective way to train your whole team.

The legal responsibility for the safe operation of a commercial swimming pool rests with management.

For this reason, one member of management must attend every course.

Management should understand:

• How to carry out water testing

• Chlorine and pH control

• Safe backwashing procedures

• Chemical handling and COSHH

• Record keeping

• Emergency response procedures

• The risks posed by Cryptosporidium and Giardia
